2024 L5p nox sensor

I had a nox sensor 1 code come up. I bought a new sensor and replaced it. When I started the truck back up I got a message servicing the exhaust system with 99 miles & 65 mph. To say the least that was unexpected. I just put the old sensor back in. What do I need to do to make the new sensor work? Does it need to relearn itself?. Albertio ap psych

Jun 25, 2022 · Nox1 gets a reading, def injected, nox 2 gets a reading. If the nox2 reading is not low enough, more def is injected and if it can't keep nox 2 low enough it throws a code. Could be a nox sensor out of calibration, or bad def, or bad def injection system. You can get a limp for nox reduction system too.
