The guns in this series share the same fire control unit as well as a wide variety of upgrades that enhance accuracy, ergonomics, and overall performance. Essentially, the X series boasts more premium weapons than the P320 series. Compared to a Gen 5 G19, the X Compact is .3 inches longer in grip length, and .3 inches less in overall length. Which is actually a bit of a misnomer as well. While the G19 (and X Carry for that matter) feature a 4-inch barrel, the barrel and slide of the Compact are only 3.6 inches.
